our story

Myself and my husband, Farmer Al, operate a 110-acre pasture-based beef farm near New Liskeard, ON, where we sell meats, local produce, and other goods through our on-farm store. Committed to whole-animal use for both ethical and practical reasons, I began formulating beef tallow-based products in my farm kitchen in June 2024.

Today the BFF Naturals line includes 12 handcrafted offerings: whipped tallow balms (for face and body), tallow/honey lip balms, tallow deodorants, tallow shampoo bars, farmhouse lard soaps, tallow/honey healing salves, tallow baby butters, protective tallow zinc creams, tallow pet paw balms, pure tallow sticks and tallow/beeswax candles.  Our tallow is sourced from our own cows on our small Canadian family farm. Other raw ingredients (lard, beeswax and raw honey) are sourced locally from farmers I know personally.  Other ingredients (certified organic oils, and more) are all sourced from reputable Canadian companies. 

At BFF Naturals, everything comes back to the farm — to the animals we raise with care, the land that sustains us, and the community that supports what we do. Each product is made in small batches, using simple, wholesome ingredients you can trust. Whether it’s a whipped tallow balm, a bar of farmhouse soap, or a luxurious tallow shampoo bar every item is crafted with the same pride and integrity that goes into all the work we do here on the farm.
